The world has a new language

The chapter of terror is closed. The chapter of war has ended. The chapter of blind dogmas is behind us. The American people have woke up and elected a new leader who can talk the language of humanity, the language of hope not fear as he put it himself. One who is confident enough of the right means that brings prosperity and peace not only to his nation but also to the whole nations of the world.

A new language might be what we just need to start seeing changes in this world. The alphabets of the world leader are very important in shaping the face of communication on this planet. Bush has dragged us down the road back into an old era of human development that is out of time of what humanity have reached to. Obama will set us back on the right track of the human progress, right where we have reached and right where we are heading.

A new face, a new tongue, a new leader with the right language that would set the leaders of the world speeches. Soon we will be listening to a total different news, and we will be having a total new perspective and hope.

Those who would resist are on the wrong side of history (he also said that). They might realize that the train has passed. It is no longer their time for the world is heading forward in a human sense.

It is time to move forward…. Lets march…

  1. Observer, I hate to be a party-pooper, but the nature of man (not just American presidents)is what propels war and terror. President Obama will do some great things, but he cannot control the actions of evil men everywhere.

Lets see when and how he moves in the international areana first before we dance in the streets. We have yet to see action from him on Gaza on Mid East issues on numerous issues…

  3. Fadi, Its true he speaks the language that may be new to many but not you or I and others; but many many will be introduced to this new language, it may take some getting use to to learn and understand, but its time. I have confidence in Obama to bring about Change. Yes, Change has happened in America when it comes to race. I can remember being spit in the face at school by a white classmate because of me being black, this was only 14years ago. Honestly I didn’t think this kind of Change would happen so soon but I guess it was time not just for race barriers to be broken but the people are tired of this war game (over use of testosterone) the ego playing a killing role in the world. The people want to live in peace they want to be able to put food on the table, for their children to have a great education, for their loved ones not to be overseas fighting in a war that has no meaning. The world needs change! I believe change has to start somewhere to wake up the so called world leaders of the world need to start talking that new language and walking the walk of this new language. I pray for Obama to make those positive changes that he speaks about and that the people desperately want to see. I pray that the Lord grants him knowledge, wisdom, and courage to always do the right thing in the crazy world of politics.

  4. Sally and Kinzi you have a point, yes the US is sick along with the rest of the world. We all need healing not saying he will do this on his own, He said it himself that he need the help of the people also. I don’t know if you are an american, but I am and I know what its like to be an american and to have the heart of an america, (i know many may be cynical, kinzi thats also a nature of man) but it is also nature of man to CHANGE. One thing that is for sure in life is change. we are born infants, we become toddlers, children, teenagers, young adults, adults, elders and we die that =CHANGE!

  5. Perhaps you should read this post on < HREF="http://www.black-iris.com/2009/01/21/the-audacity-of-hope-fear-and-faith/" REL="nofollow">The Black Iris<>. It’s a bit more cynical, but accurate, I believe.

  6. Nika, heh-heh, too true it is the nature of man to change! I just don’t believe than man/woman is evolving into a better behaved being. Better at wearing masks, maybe, maybe even behaved, but still inwardly in need of God’s redemption and transformation. I’m actually quite an idealist, not prone to cynicism. You and I may be inspired by our new president, but I am not sure about the rest of the world.(btw, I am an American who hasn’t lived there in 20 years. In that time I lived in Muslim and Socialist countries and traveled in Communist countries. Growing up we had race riots on our front lawn in the 60s, I remember when MLK was assassinated. Gayle King was my neighbor and babysitter. 🙂

  7. Kinzi, I agree, no one would be able to control the actions of evil everywhere, but when someone who is considered to be the leader of this world talks such language of humanity, I believe it would be reflected everywhere and eventually bring us forward. I am afraid that some evil would strike his way, but I hope he stick to his words and what he seems to believe in.Sally, you are right as well, the US is sick, and he seems to be so confident with how he is going to face that. The language he uses says a lot. There is a big change in approaching the problems. The race/religious fear inducing message of Bush is not there. There is a message of hope here and confidence of moving forward. Maria, :), I am so confident with the change like you are. I have strong faith in this man. I have strong faith in humanity and the level of compassion it had reached. I am sorry to know about the incident happen to you, but I am glad to acknowledge that the world have moved miles forward. Now we are going to even step bigger steps 🙂 Cheers 🙂

  8. Dave, you are right, I just read it, it is more of a reality check of how people in this area feel about him. But don’t you think that this whole positive energy this man is enducing around would bring something good? People have very high expectations, yes, that is a good thing. At least we are hoping for something good now. I hope we chose hope not fear in this region as well. We need it.

  9. I think Obama’s strength, (one of them), is that when he talks, you can believe that things are going to be OK. I truly believe that he is going to lead this country out of the hole that we’ve been in for the past 8 years. I’m not saying that he’ll make everything perfect with butterflies and rainbows, but I believe that things will be better with him as our president.

  10. I see what a lot of Arab bloggers I've been reading for years are saying about Obama, and I wonder if they heard the same speech I did? Here's a tip – if you think Hezbollah is heroic, Obama is NOT WITH YOU. Black Iris dude, you are part of the problem that Obama intends to solve, eh? Read the speech, folks. Carefully.Hope is good, but if you are HOPING Obama will empower terrorist organizations like Hezbollah, then you're on the wrong side of history, and we will defeat you <--- Obama said that. People who support violence and terrorism aren't part of the Obama dream, they are part of the global nightmare.

  11. Here in Greece they say “Hold a small basket” that means don’t wait for big things especially when you hear big words. They asked once the general secretary of the communist party of USA what is the difference between the republicans and the democrats and he answered:” It is the same difference between coca-cola and Pepsi-cola”!!! I think he is right…Now if you hear the speech of Obama he said that he will leave Iraq to his people but he will fight in Afghanistan!! What did he say about the murderous attack of Israel to the Palestinian people, nothing!!!The American policy is the policy of securing the interests of the American capital and this policy, the new president of the US, will work for….. don’t wait anything different than want we have seen until today!!!

  12. <>The American policy is the policy of securing the interests of the American capital and this policy<>Absoultely! And when it becomes in the interests of America for Americans to be murdered, then the US will change policy towards the middle east. Or, alternately, Arabs and Iranians can stop murdering Americans, and then we can also have a change of policy. When neither of those things is true, then… no change in policy. Sorry. The joke about the communist party in the United States was good, thanks for that. It’s always good to hear the opinion of 3 crazy old guys who live in a tent in the middle of Nebraska 🙂

  13. First, may I say, Observer, that this post was beautifully written, and expresses very much what I would like to believe, though I suspect it’s one of those moments where my idealism is getting ahead of my pragmatism.I find Obama’s Inaugural Address, as well as his address yesterday to the Cabinet and White House staff, to be inspiring, and very hopeful. I was really impressed, actually, at how pointedly he addressed issues in the Islamic world in his Inaugural, because it’s not traditionally the time to make policy statements or talk about the affairs of other countries. Nor is it usually a platform to criticize one’s predescessor and his policies, and Obama <>definitely<> criticized the Bush Administration. The Executive Orders Obama has signed in his first 24 hours in office suggest that he will make genuine efforts to lend every tool at his disposal to the realization of his promises. And I am choosing to allow my optimism and idealism to lead me to believe him until evidence arises suggesting otherwise.

  14. Tina, I believe the same 🙂Craig, I m not the Black-Iris, that is another blog. I also dont think hizb allah is heroic. Obama won’t fight terror with terror. He is sending a human message of respect that seems to be hard to be ignored. Terro voices should die with Bush.Jmaay, actaually there is a huge difference between the republican and democrates. They have totally different programs and agendas. It is hard not to acknowledge the differences. Maryah, you are right, changes have already been made! I have big faith in this man. Why not dream if it makes us feel good? 🙂

  15. Lets hope for good. President Obama seems to have some promising policies. But it’s better to let history unfold before we judge the future without any solid knowledge or facts. So far, it’s all expectation, no deliverables.

  16. Have you heard his address at the department of State. I cannot get all this obamamania, his position was as pro-israeli as any other american president. Have no expectations of an American president, no matter how low you set them you’ll always get disappointed.

  17. Some words from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.Nobel Peace Prize 1964 Acceptance Speech. “I refuse to accept despair as the final response to the ambiguities of history. I refuse to accept the idea that the “isness” of man’s present nature makes him morally incapable of reaching up for the eternal “oughtness” that forever confronts him. I refuse to accept the idea that man is mere flotsom and jetsom in the river of life, unable to influence the unfolding events which surround him. I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality.I refuse to accept the cynical notion that nation after nation must spiral down a militaristic stairway into the hell of thermonuclear destruction. I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right temporarily defeated is stronger than evil triumphant. I believe that even amid today’s mortar bursts and whining bullets, there is still hope for a brighter tomorrow.” With that said I do believe the world can change. With Mr. Obama becoming the President of the USA he isn’t here to change the WORLD, but to help change America with the help of the American people. But believe this when America FARTS OR SNEEZES the world somehow feels it and smells it.

As it shows, President Obama doesn’t seem to abolish the stupid Patriot Act, although this is a key issue, and a major corruption, done by the Bush administration.
