I think that we should get rid of this issue.The world will never stop judging us what ever we do.I think that Lebanon war made that clear.We have to fight till the end, the problem is when you have stupid illitrate people representing you and you case.
I disagree ! Ghandi wont be our model , maybe what he did for his nation was something huge , we might get benifit of what he did , but not to be our model !!!!! CheeerZ!

But it is becoming really bad these days. We can’t just sit there and say things would never change, because when there is a will there is a way, and I believe that our world have enough civilized people that we can talk to their hearts and minds. We can change things by being civilized ourselves. Ghandi gave a great honor to his people. Let us use him and prove to the world that we are a great nation.

How does history pove that? Eventhough history can be biased and is written by the winner, you can still find some documentation of good people as of Ghandi’s experience.Why Ghandi?Because 1. He is very well known figure.2. He is very respectful in the whole world.3. His struggle resulted in a success.4. He fought his opressors in a very civilized and peaceful way that we do need to consider in our struggle cause we don’t seem to succeed in the other way some of us use. 5. Borrowing a role model of another culture gives a message to the world that we do respect the other, and is aware of the world cultures and history. 6. The message itself can have a good impact, by showing the world how we feel being under opression, and that we won’t cater to violence anymore.7. We need a peacful figure that can wash our tarnished image that associate Arabs and Muslims with terror. Having said that, if we can do somekind of a vote on Jordan Planet to choose a different figure who can do the job in saving us, then I would gladly discuss and consider others opinions. Unfortunatly, I havent seen many interest in this subject in the first place. We can only make a difference if we work all togather.
this is mohammad again .What exactly do you mean by saying “use ghandi as a role model” , if you mean that we should just forget about the resistance and just sit back as we get killed “like ghandi” then your totally wrong , but if your talking about peaceful demonstrations then I agree with you

hehhe, sure The Observer is taken 😛I guess his policy has succeeded in freeing his people. Peaceful means can achieve a lot. We have tried violence for years, and it didn’t help us at all. Count our deaths since the Israeli Arabic comflict begun. How many shall die before we reach to a realization that violence doesnt work?
