   you remind me of my friends when I first came to canada. They told me that my chances of hooking up a girl in a club is higher than blacks because arabs are perceived as more “fearsome” and “dangerous”–apparently, girls feel more secure around them.lool

   one must not forget that in the eyes of the west, even before there was any suicide attacks, we were always retarded barbarians. That’s the gist of Orientalism. those who have short memories of the recent history of colonialism will not recall how Arabs who resisted violent colonialism, be it french, italian, british, zionist, and now american, those arabs were called all sort thing from terrorists to barbarians to heathens. you name it. so before you lament the loss of your image, ask yourself who is doing the defamation and why?if it were the Chinese and Brazilians, I would start to worry. Other than that, all I can say is that after the Americans slaughtered untold tens of thousands of innocent Arabs and protected the Israelis in their killing sprees, while the west, who created this mess to please the jews, stood idly by as Gazans starve, THE WEST HAS NO RIGHT TO JUDGE ME.

   بطبيعة الحال ما تقوله صحيح وهوواقع , ولكن لا تنسى ان البحر كي يخرج ما في باطنه من رواسب وتراكمات فهو يمر بمراحل من التعكير والظلام والتلاطم , انا ارى وبكل صدق ان هذا هو وضعكم في العالم العربي , ربما هي مسالة وقت , ولكن كل ذلك لا يجب ان يزرع بداخلكم كراهية اصولكم لان هذا هو الهدف الاول والاخير الذي يرغب به الاخر وهو ابسط وسيله لبث التخاذل في نفس اي امه او شعب وهوتشكيكه بكل ما يملك , نعم هناك اخطاء وتخاذل وسوء اداره في كثير من الدول العربيه ولكن لا تنسى ان في المقابل هناك من يعمل بجد لترقيع ما انشق وتمزق , المهم هو الثبات على رأي واحد , هناك خلل كبير في الشعوب العربيه ولا تلوم الشعب كشعب فهم مجرد بشر فكلما وفرت لهم المناخ المناسب كلما وجدت منهم الخير , وانتتعلم حتما ان ما وصل له العرب في ظل الامبراطوريه الاسلاميه ليس من فراغ ولكن من دعم كبير واعتزاز بالنفس , ولكن هذا الامر قد غاب اليوم بل اصبح العربي يخجل من كونه عربي , فمن تلوم ؟ طبعا نحن نعلم ان الاستعمار قد لعب دورا كبيرا في اجتثاث روح العروبه والطاقه من نفوس العرب وكان ذلك مدروس ومخطط له وهو مستمر حتى اليوم ودون التعلق بمفكره المؤامره الغربيه ولكن نوعا ما هناك من لا يريدك ان تكون موجودا وهذا واضح ولكن هم كذلك محقين فهم لهم الحق في اثبات تواجدهم وهذه حي سنةالحياة ولكن العتب وكل العتب على من تخاذل واستسلم وتخلى عن كل شئ , هناك من يبثون روح اليأس في نفوس الشباب اليوم وهناك من اصبحوا فعلا اعداء لشعوبهم وهم اعتبرهم ضحايا لوضع قائم , قد تتغير القيادات وتتغير العقول ويتغير نمط الحياة ويعود الناس الى رشدهم لان ما يحدث اليوم هو محظ جنون وليس من العقل في شئ , هناك تخلف وتردي في مجال التعليم والاقتصاد وبطيعة الحال هو ينعكس على كل شئ , متى سوف يتحسن الوضع انا لا اعلم ومن سيكون القائد لهذا التحول الجذري كذلك لا اعلم ..ولكن كما يقال دوام الحال من المحال وكلما كنتم مخلصين تجاه معتقدكم وعروبتكم وحبكم لاوطانكم وحبكم لبعضكم البعض وكانت كلمتكم واحده كلما قل عدد الخونه وعدد الماجورين والعملاء بينكم وحسنها ستقدر الامه على لملمة اشلائها تحتاجون الى والوقت والعزيمه

   Hamza, lol, so how did it go? did you manage to hook up with the best girls? 😉Basel, but can’t you deny as well the damage of the Arab image after 11/9? If it has been bad before that, then it is much worse now. Yes the west has no right to judge us, but this is what is happening, and thanks to some people who are claiming to represent us in a bad way! Unfortunatly many of us clapped for them when they first appear! Now a lot wake up and realized how wrong we were. Rami, you are totally right. I am always optimistic, and I can see some potentials and hope in our youth. Things are changing, and yes the more powerful always set the rules, but we also have some major problems in our Arab world that we have to acknowledge in order to address and move on. My post is in no way intend to bash our achievements and history but to be a wake up call of our obsession of power (where we lack) and thinking that it is our way to fight back, while we can go much better by advocating peaceful means.
